I had a wee sneaky look on the DVLA site and found that number plate, plus loads of others similar to it/mine al around the £500 mark.
DVLA Number Plate: MG54 ZSX
Wonder if that helps at all? I do have to say that I think that colour is amazing, not seen one in the flesh yet, but the pics look astonishing and I love the idea of the prototype.....Very jealous indeed!

Looks like there is a square hole on the bonnet to fill with something square under the bonnet

Two epic cars mate. I have just 2 pics of them from Saturday. I noticed the bonnet bulge. It was used by MGR to experiment fitting a supercharger. Is there anything special under there or is it all standard now?

Very nice looking car. Is the extra power noticeable?

Wow that colour shift in those two pics is ridiculous!!
The far one looks like ignition blue and the closer one looks like nocturne!

I'm pretty sure this had an Eaton supercharger during its development phase and was mounted under, not on top from what I remember.
Here's one from an EMS day July 2007

£4000 was about the list price from Sprintex when they were available.
