This is a mate of mine who has this, Cat D, no chassis damage, same bumper used to repair.
It's going to be for sale soon as he's getting somethig different.
What you need to think is the more valuable the car, the harder it is to write it off.
For example MG's are worth peanuts now so as much as a dented wing can put it on a Cat C. Yet a 2011 BMW would need exstensive damage to make it beyond economical repair. i.e this which is a wreck and only a Cat D
