R8NMG will become famous soon enough
Did a long run on my current tank and is currently showing 260 miles complete with just above a quarter tank left which should be good for at least another 100 miles. Mostly motorway hovering 70-75mph most of the time but with a little spirited driving keeping up with traffic.

atm i have got unlimited mpg... but that is cos i dont have a car

45mpg out the 120 is pretty impressive.. if i stuck to 65 in mine it would be more like 55.

most i ever saw out of a tank was 600miles, i managed to repeat it conistantly for a month as i was stuck driving like Miss Daisy down A roads between 45-55mph in deepest darkest wiltshire, worked out at over 60mpg!

Well I must be doing something wrong because I would be lucky to get anywhere near 300 miles to a tank and have never got any better. Are you guys cheating and free wheeling quite a bit?

Smile

The best mileage I have got out of a full tank of fuel is about 280. That was driving sensibly, mostly motorway and not going over 70.

Sounds like somebody is in dire need of a health check on their motor

Nah, car is running sweet mate. It's probably the cheap Morrisons fuel I put in her!! lol

I don't do lots of mileage, mainly short runs up to 12 miles, so not good mpg!

20 quid gets me around 120 miles, with some lead in my right foot.

Just started using VPower, bit pricier but i hear you get better mileage and it does help prolong the life of your fuel system, valves and cat.

Whats the best mix too use with normal unleaded, or is it best to use pure? Maybe I should fill the car up too the brim to get better mpg?

I usually run around with half a tank of fuel and that lasts me a week.

Its actually more economical to let your car roll to a stop in gear than freewheel.
