I used to live in Rhu (Just off the Gare Loch - Loads of Jelly Fish in there!) and we took the dogs up to Loch Lomond (Fekking tons of Midgies!) on a regular basis for long walks...
Then we decided to move north, to Thurso for a few years (ahhhh thurso, best steak I have ever had from a small cafe up there..)... and now back on the south coast (been back down here for over 10 years now though)
Ha... bet none of you can think what my father does for a living?

Only going by Thurso but your Dad doesnt have anything to do with Nuclear tech??

rhu is near faslane so would also fit, im not far from loch lomond next to the erskine bridge in old kilpatrick
as for camping, i dont know because i cant plan ahead these days, too much keeps coming up to go and do, plus think tanya would be kicking my arse because already set to do the west highland way and countless other trips without her lol
