You'd be safer with a heavier wire than the one from the mirror. Last time i retro fitted electric windows to a mk2 from a mk1, i ran my own heavy feed with inline fuse from the fusebox. Its not a nice job to do properly.

It shows it in the Haynes manual but not a wiring diagram of the unit itself, the 4 pin multi plug on the one you've linked to goes to the drivers door window switch, the smaller connector is for the power and earth.

how theyre both on a 20a fuse
