I've thought about a bonnet CAF many times, but this would entail having a scrap bonnet to play with. The real issue is making a scoop look right and that will be hard considering the position of the intake in relation to the throttle body. It would need to be near the front edge and that would look shoite on a road car. But there is nothing to be lost by trying this out on a scrap bonnet.
Having been involved with induction systems on the early BTCC race cars and 750 superbikes, the best position was found to be as low as possible, for pure mass the ideal position is headlight aperture, however okay for track but utterly useless for road!
Another other than standard is a plus, but its purely aesthetics on a road car.

Yup that isn't a scoop, it is just a dented bonnet. I guess everyone vision is different.

More than just a dented bonnet...

But in theroy would this work if you had a bonnet scoop in the right place for the aid of induction.

Exactly what I was trying to find out, if you could locate the aperture over the cone then on the move the cold air would be entering right where it was needed. By the way, mines a 120, don't know how much difference this would make, but I know the throttle body is at the top of the induction system.
