The manifolds will improve the whole package, there are gains to be had there. At £330 they are a steal and are on my list for 2009.

Likewise. I think my mods for the START of the year are going to have to be mannis and a quaife diff. Am also looking into getting a new set of wheels for the beast which will allow me to refurb the ones i have on at the moment and get some decent track tyres to fit to em.

so just to confirm all this what bhp gains are to be had with the manifolds, de-cat and cat/de-cat back. around 10-12bhp i would expect to see there. and a total of what, £700???

i think between 185-195bhp would be a good figure to get from having "the full package" (including induction kits etc..) but of course it all depends on engine variance.....they are built to a fairly close tolerance....but technically speaking not all of them are going to be bang on 179bhp.....be less or more....so its hard to judge...in my opinion....fitting the full works to my car was worth every penny.....strongly recommended

190 bhp with full exhaust and induction is an honest number on a healthy zs 180 imo.
Manifolds are worth it now theyre so cheap imo.

Spot on, the induction system on a 180 is the most restrictive thing.
