Had the Yellow zed out today, giving it a wee tick over keeping it in good shape and all running as it should.
all the usual checks making sure the fan comes on etc.. and I noticed a small "ticking" coming from the inlet manifold when up to temp'.
now I had replaced the manifold and it has been silent up until now, but it isn't a tick as such it had before (a dead rattle)... there is circular cylinder shaped sensor just up from the throttle body on the manifold with two connections going into it, one being the loom the other a quick release fitting. when disconnecting the sensor the tick goes away.. now could that be the sensor or just the fact you are disconnecting that the fault lies within the manifold..
not had a chance to give the car a good drive since end of april, so not able to tell if there is a power loss..
