To me all these car based price rises are to take it back to old old days where us working class people didn't have cars only the rich people could afford them.

If anyone can tell me about a protest that actually worked and the government went - "Oh the public don't like it - we'll not do that" - then when was it ?
I'm well peeved at the moment.
Everything is going up and for the first time - well - ever - I'm actually concerned about money.
The ST is on it way out - Getting rid of the Focus diesel was a mistake - another one.

I remember the last fuel protest.....................No food in the shops, panic buying, and most of all it cost me a ?1000.
The bloke I used to chauffeur for, had managed to wangle a charity day at Donnington race track, with the boss of Gallagher Tobacco. The name behing B&H. All the Jordan team was there, plus the drivers, plus over 50 very rich people, all crying out for a full time chauffeur................ The day was cancelled as my mate couldnt find any petrol for his Bentley................Since that day, I hate BIG TIME the fuel protestors.
My Zed will get his petrol at any price, as long as I can get in to a garage.

I am gona do everything I can to save fuel for a while. I fooking grudge putting any extra into the Con-Dem governments pockets. Hit THEM where it hurts and dont give them any more extra fuel duty/vat than possible.

Hopefully Smokey and I will get the house we've applied for. Means he can walk the couple of 100 yards to work and there are buses every hour minimum for me to get to and from college. Not really looking forward to using buses again but agree with Craig... need to do everything I can to save on fuel costs

The thing is here two people have said they won't fill up or won't fill up as much etc etc
But how many people WILL......... people just bend over when it comes to fuel/tax costs because it's classed a neccersary thing......
It's coming to the point IMHO if you don't earn 20k a year then ur screwed.... people such as myself earning min wage are having to tighten the purse strings to the the point of cutting my bollocks off
Fuel protests won't do nothing just like the daft students efforts made resulted in oh another 3k a year on uni fee's to line the politicians pockets
I won't sell my zs bcus of this I'll just stick in storage and not bother with fuel
Rant over
