Phate is an unknown quantity at this point
I've been talking to a mate and he says that putting these springs on will eventually wear out the dampers, is this true?

Otherwise I'm tempted to do this...or just go the full whack and order a new suspension system.

Anyone got any pics of a car once it's been lowered, want to see what it'll look like...also does this affect the tyres when turning? will it hit the wheel arch?

Many Thanks,
Jake

excellent!, I want mine a bit lower anyway

come on guys if you are interested get adding to the list!

I did ask about lowering the number, but they only do batches of 50 at a time

I've never heard of a damper wearing out. What you might of heard is the term shock rattle - that sometimes happens with cheap aftermarket springs that don't fit properly. The first generation AVO springs for the ZR were bad for it.

Generally you're ok up to a 30mm lowering, then you can run into issues

[QUOTE=Maxxed_Ross;76516]well as we all know Eibach stopped making the XPower lowering springs for the V6 recently and you can't get them now for love nor money

so I phoned them up and pleaded with them to make some more... and they actually said yes!

only problem is I need to have 50 orders before they will put the batch into production

So spread the word on every MG forum that you can find and get a list made up -

this will be the last batch to be made for the V6
