Perfect car to start in, nice one. Plenty of feedback driving them (I had a 1.6 briefly once in the same colour) and was the fastest thing thru London backroads - only when there were speed bumps of course, I could go flat out with the floaty suspension lol. Even out run an elise this way! Don't think it counts mind...
Don't make it a Gti look a like tho, as you may end up with similar insurance too - they really, really don't like that kind of thing.

Well was looking up a spec sheet and was really surprised to find four things
1. Fuel tank. 11 gallons
2. Bhp. 75 bhp
3. 0-60 time 10.6 seconds
4. Top speed 109 mph.
When I saw that big grin on my face

Nice find mate, I passed my test in a 1.9d. I agree with the lowering post. A nice set of 1.9 gti alloys and hit it with the big lowering stick, it will look amazing!

If you look for a set of 13' alloys from a Rolland Garros, and stick it on some really good rubber, Goodyear F1s, then you'll actually have mor fun, my bro's 1.4 wears out its drive shaft quite quick with 1.9 alloys, infact he might have a set of Gti 14's in the garage' i'll ask him what he wants for them.
Change Your indicator lenses, about ?50 a pair, makes a huge difference to the look, but not a chav mod.
this takes me back ...... I've had loads of 205 over the years..... crashed a fair few too! lol

Yeeh might look into the light but if u could ask him that would be great
And I think the 205 is the ultimate hot hatch of 80s and 90s

I think it'd be quite good to GTI it up. I wouldn't spend a lot though, but a few bits here and there would make a difference. It'll probably increase your insurance though.
