It is every 90,000 miles or 6 years, but if it has manual tensioner then its 60,000, (early models) as they changed the size of the cambelt to a wider one which meant it can be left longer

yahh, sorry a wasnt trying to prove a pint too much just dint want people to panic because theyde gone over, im doing mine in the summer cuz thats 6 years

ah maybe its a case of them not updating the manual then. mines years overdue being an 02 not even got 50k on the clock yet mind

got a x mg / rover mech whos gonna do all my belts and water pump for 70 notes! bloody bargain. I take it cam belt and tentioner, power steering belt and alternator belt are all the belts arnt they? theres not an ac ones is there cuz that uses the alternator one dont it?

yeah it does just need to make sure its the a/c belt because theres one that just does the altenator for non ac cars, il do mine meself for cost of parts

my belts were over due a year and could not belive the state of the belt that i took off mine, it was all cracked, dont think it would have lasted much longer
