You're one of the few on here that could fit it too - for me it'd be buy it then give it away to someone else to charge me loads to get it all fitted ....

Put it this way I could never go back to a stock 180 again. The only thing I would replace my current charged motor with would hav a reyland badge on the side lol!
I would not however fit one to an everyday car unless u got loads of dosh to keep shell profits up, best milage I got was 25 by driving like a granny.

I often get around 23-24mpg as it is! I dont do much mileage in the car anyway so not a real problem.
Gonna do some sums.

Trouble I have is the wee angel is saying do it and the devil is saying do it too, but lack of funds is the problem

needs a lot of work to make it reliable, especially for track.
Gtm fitted forged pistons etc to his and it still failed twice in a very short space of time.
Tbh the gain on track over a sorted nasp zs 180 would be negligible, it wouldnt justify the expense, if you want to go fast around a track then power is well down the list of prioritys. I wouldnt fit one to a track zs just because of the extra weight of the charger and its in the worst possible place high up at the front.
When you start getting serious with a track zs you quickly realise understeer is a problem, the charger will make it worse.
The expense of fitting a charger and making it reliable is high, you could spend a huge amount less money on other mods that would gain you masses more lap time than the charger.

I hope this has gone before the next instalment of the student loan comes in.
What modifications have been made to the charger?

I am told it has the uprated bearings in the snout and has been modified to have oil suplied by the engine and returned. Much the same as a turbo.
Thats why there is a rocker cover in there as its lower than the charger and thats where the oil return is.
