Try Greenlight Insurance dude..........they seemed pretty **** hot.......all you need is 1 years NCB to get a quote......and they seem very friendly on modded cars......

I bet your quote could be closer to £1000!!!

Yep I agree............Ralph can't stop rubbing his hands together........he fixes my car and then I bring it back broken again.....if it's not broken I buy stuff for the car with money I can't afford to spend

No doubt about it..........the ZS180 is awesome in either mk1 or mk2 form..........very cheap to buy I think and very under rated.

Waited 6 months for my 120. Had been looking at 110's and 180's aswell, but the 120 felt almost as good as a 180 after the test drive. Handling was as good down the back lanes and throttle response and acceleration seemed very even. Only difference was the 120 ran out of puff at 12@ and the 180 sounds quite a bit nicer!

I think you will find buying a 180 a slightly easier experience as they are spec'd up to start with. Just finding one that fits your wallet, colour and age/mileage.

Just beware of the cambelts at 6 years or 90k whatever comes first and budget around £500, again this will depend on what budget you have, but if it means a mk1 prepare to haggle if this is close to being required.

Some current owners of 180's, who do not belong to any forums, will be looking to move theirs on pretty quick as their local garage has probably quoted them around £600-700 for this work. Those in the know and that have done them many times can do the same job for around the £500 mark.

Cool, i shouldn't have that problem. I'm looking for a mk2 any way and ive got about 5.5k to spend.

Theres a blue on on auto trader now with full leather but its up at 8.5k with 34k miles on - anyone think thats too much????

theres a black mk2 on autotrader for 5.7k at the min but its got the rear body kit bits missin.... not a good look....and its 200+miles away from me

others just seem too expensive. parkers only has them up at £5700 give or take a few hundred...
