JDL-ok but still nowhere near as good as a mk2 180 kit imo.

you're all wrong, this is the best bodykit for the Mk1
Considering the guys at the bodyshop near enough re-made the whole kit (apart from the rear arches) including a totally new front bumper, it can be done if you know a good bodyshop
Just expect the price to have quite a few numbers in it

Ross, is your axle extended to sit flush with the extended arches or is it standard? cos that would rule out others putting the kit on their standard cars?

I think you will find his rims are actually alot wider so sit outside the arches and the offset will also come into play. Wouldn't be surprised if they were 10J.

the brakes pack the whole lot out by quite a bit, then the mounting system for the single wheel stud moves it out a bit more, then the massive wheels finish it off. They are 9" wide!!! I'd imagine they have quite an offset too.
I actually brought it up the road on 4 stud road hubs so it would fit on the trailer, it made the car alot narrower but it looked stupid. Think I have a picture of it somewhere
