A shade under 140mph braking at 120m for a hairpin in the Midget... Fine in the dry, interesting in the wet.....

Phate is an unknown quantity at this point
Fastest I've been on a bike (passenger) is 155 - in a car (again passenger) is 165....

Those speeds feel...odd

I managed to get 140 odd out of the ZS one night on the GPS... even thought the speedo was about 5mph higher! It was still pulling so would probably have gone a fair bit quicker... but the back straight at Knockhill isn't that long lol

I noticed over the winter that the speedo GPS difference is even bigger with the standard 17's on. A few MPH high up to 70ish and then it goes waaay out the closer you get to the ton. Fitting 18" wheels actually made it more accurate!

I have a similar problem on the Landrover, with it having such big tires the speedo is constantly at least 10mph out, so I have a GPS speedo fitted perminantly

Not had a chance to test the new machine yet... but it gets to triple figures very very quickly!

Hoping to get over to the 'ring this summer... so that'll be a good test for it

I bottled it at 130mph when i picked my 180 up from Germany both my tomtom and speedo said the same speed they can't both be out can they? Managed just over the ton on the start finish straight at Oulton the other day before i had to slam on and change down at the 50 board lol

However i have been in ride in a heavily modifed 400 'tractor' as a passenger and i saw over an indicated 140mph and it was still pulling!

usually the derv's run out of puff at 4200rpm but his mods and fueling adjustments kept it going right up to 5000 or so iirc
Strange, My ZS TDi 101 (Not owned it for over 3 years) was still pulling at 145mph (indicated) while following a ZR160, and that was standard...

The 180 has only seen 147 once and I backed off after than as it felt a bit light.... think I need some polyurethene bushes...

150mph on the M25, but had to slow down to overtake a lorry, ambulance and tanker all at the same time!
