I have to say that the TB colour does suit the MK1 better as it allows the whole of the car to be noticed. The XPG on the MK1 seems to mask the arches and makes the car look smaller imo.

I agree...plus I'm thinking a TB respray will be much easier. It'll look like glass when its done

Yeah stick with the TB fella. Lovely colour and as you say will be easier to do and less expensive. My first 180 back in 2001 was in TB and i loved it.

could you spray a different colour over the top to make a different colour over all e.g purple over the top to make a purplely/blue or spray it with a pearlescent lacquer ???
