OK, a little update.
After two cheap (£100) tablets that didn't fit the bill in different ways, whether it be no Bluetooth, no GPS or not easy to root, I finally settled on spending £160 on a Nexus 7.
Best decision ever!
I can confirm that with a £10 OBD Bluetooth adapter, Torque app runs flawlessly and has a great selection of options form displays and data, even fuel, trip and mpg options live and average etc. An amazing app.
Also,the Nexus connected to my stereo via Bluetooth and there was no issues with both running via Bluetooth either.
So the tablet is confirmed, next is swapping the current PC touchscreen with the tablet.
