I want to. But I don't know this history of the car nor the previous owner (Alan) but I hate scum bags that clock cars or aren't legitimate about the cars history. I bought a Laguna a few years ago. The guy said "79000 miles on clock, timing belt done at 62000. A few months later belt snapped. I had a look on the dvla website at recent mots, and they were about 96000 112000 then 78345. How this wasn't flagged up!! Nice to see the new mot regulations. However I am more than happy to ask for the relative info to check website. And then give him some abuse. But I agree we all should.

It does, and as he's claiming it as genuine mileage he knows what he's doing, if he was an honest seller he'd point out that the clocks had been changed so the mileage wasn't a true record.
I'm really tempted to message him about the mileage posing as a former owner.
