Think your right there Peter, I mind Kev saying the same thing to me and my 55 plate has alcantra, rear head rests and leccy windows all round as standard.....possibly summat else but no sure. Would assume its the '**** we need folk to buy oor cars, make them better value and add as much extras as we can".
Shouldn't have to have done that with a car as good as the ZS but suppose that's life

they certainly did with the ZR. My ZR was supposed to be top of the range but didn't have fog lights and came with a tape deck! Apparently they just flung whatever bits they had the most of on to get rid of them.

Vauxhall have done something very similar with the Astra when the shape changed. The last few Vans and Estates came as standard with the full XP body kit and loads of extras to shift the bits that wouldn't fit the new car

Made £955 in the end, well short of the £1400 he wanted.

Not worth that IMO. It looked a mess.

At £955 it would make a great MK2 track car though.

...if they can find someone who will insure it for them.
More and more big names are now refusing to cover "Cat anything". When I changed my old ZR 105 for a ZR TD which was a Cat C that I'd rescued, Swiftcover completely screwed me.
