You should all 'chip in' and buy a ship load from the US. It's around 52p/L right now (and they are complaining it's too expensive).

Suppose us derv guys could go and buy veg. oil from ASDA, veg oil + derv, sounds like the government dont like it though and want their pound of flesh.

http://www.sovereignty.org.uk/featur...h/biofuel.htmle

We have home made signs down here, at the side of the road, saying buy bio-fuel, never tried it but if the prices keep going up maybe worth a try.

Notice that in 2003, derv was 0.73p a litre, wow, how quickly we have been stuffed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My uncle does this on his Diesel and my dad did it on his Rover 400...

My dad now doesn't run it any more as its more expensive when buying it new from ASDA.

My Uncle still does it in the summer (winter makes the oil too thick for the injectors even with his preheater) and it is cost effective as he takes the old oil away from the local chippy, then filters it through a pair of jeans, then through something else (can't remember the second stage) then goes in his car... Smells like a chippy but does the job and free motoring
