A moderator should be someone who has made a big and regular contribution to the site, not just one of your mates ! That's how it used to be on XPF - if you was a big contributor to the site and went out of your way to assist with the running of things or organising events then you would be asked to represent the site - a moderator. That's the way, i'm glad to see, it works here

Yeah Paul is sound
Ive had a few run ins with them over on .org and two of the mods from .org run Xpf Too
I just didint agree with how they'd give no lenience on the matter theyd just infract you over on .org where as XPF there was a lenience youd get a pm saying can you remove or not do it again
I wouldnt be surprised if someone from .org hasnt picked up on this and is over theyre slating me

Thanks for the post about XPF's history Mat C. Good to know how it all started and how its panned out now. Its my main MG forum but I use this one just as much now.
Can I just ask, what was all the drama about this forum last week and why KevG has gone?!
