Picked this up today. You would not believe my luck?

Job was decent to be fair done by a local bodyshop. Pleased to be back in it as the 520D I was given was so slow lol..

Anyway collect the car, and drive to my local supermarket, park right out the way in the corner of the car park take a snap to show a few friends on fb etc.

Go in for a 5 mins, come out and notice a scratch on the tailgate, looks very fresh. Assumed it was bodyshop went back but they were closed so I went back to the supermarket and got a half size trolley... Oh yes you guessed it in that 5 mins somebody decided to ram a trolley into the back of my car

gutted does not come close, no CCTV. I have never let me car get scratched or battered in anyway, it doesn't have one parking ding or anything.

Parked in the spot (yes i know parking lines but this is the edge of the carpark so nobody can park to the left of me.

This a good reason for owning an MG. Cheap replacement parts etc. I am truly gutted for you and such a lovely car. I can feel rage building up and it's not even my car.

Makes you want to shoot people. Kathy had similar to her MGF, someone either drive into the front or reversed into it, cracked the lights, cracked the bumper and all at ASDA. Pretty sure someone threw a trolley into yours, most likely out of jealousy.

it was a trolley it all matched up perfect tbh what i hate most is thinking about somebody having done it or made the mistake to let the trolley go. It is windy out but somebody knows just what they did. it infuriates me to the point my blood is boiling. I just don't understand how it happened.

In my mind i wonder if it was a team member of the bodyshop that did the repair, I had to get a little argumentative to them this week as they dragged there heels. The guy was stuck as he couldn't answer me yes or no without dropping themselves in it hugely.

gutted, however glad it was not the hire car as that would have cost me a fortune.

Sorry to see that - these sorts of things really **** me off as well - i have seen people do it to nice cars parked over two bays out of spite pure and simple - it is why i stopped doing it myself and just park well out the way instead and walk further.

hopefuly that should polish out as it doesn't look too deep, unless it is a trick of the photo.
