Smaller sub acts faster but gives less depth than a bigger one.

It'll be deep enough I reckon with two.
And the standard ones do give more depth in the fronts but I prefer good mids on the front.
And then fill in from my two ways in the rear and the depth from the subs when I get them.
So much buying going on at the minute though the subs can wait.

What make and size was the sub Dan, a small sub doesn't mean it'll be bad but there are certain makes that I probably wouldn't touch.
One that I thought wouldve been bad but I have actually ended up with one as a back up whilst my 15" is out of action is an Edge 12" active enclosure. Not something I would usually go for but as it is a side decision of Vibe (gets better right ups though) I thought may be worth a try. Not bad for £100 boxed with amp built in.
I used to have 2 12"s then 2 15"a which really shook the s##t out of the car and the house 6 doors down but with the kids it was a but too much.

Anyway, find out the name and size and should be able to say if it'll do what you want.

First brim to brim with fuel today to see what she's doing.

Pretty chuffed really. I've not been hanging about - some sharp acceleration up to 60-70, and cruising at 75-80 on the M'way to work and over the last 256 miles - 29.09mpg.

MG 53 ZED is on a distinguished road
I have a vibe black air (I think it's called) sub in my car, it came with the car when I brought it. It is rather large and does take up a fair bit of the boot space, so when I finally upgrade my ice system I will be looking to get a smaller more fitted sub in the back of my Zed. I would not want to compromise on the sound quality though. They make a hell of a difference would much rather have one than not have one.

That looks like a 12" from the picture. Vibes and their counterpart names are usually a good option for an all in one package without the need to then go buying amps too.

I'm still a bit confused though about why having a mahoosive speaker in the boot would equate to a better sounding system and listening experience inside the cabin ....
