I will have to find out the price, I got them at a 'special rate' as they were the first ones he did but as I also gave the wrong measurements they were slightly too big. He is going to do them again for me as i forgot to give him the correct details! I am a plonker!
I do know that Locking Vinyl does them as well if you want to also try them?

Righto chaps, after being about an inch away from buying a new car at the weekend 2 things happened;
1) I got a new insurance quote, and have saved several hundred pounds!
2) I drove the zed! (Enough said)
So.....Whilst getting ready to pop the standard airbox back in i have been thinking, obviously the servbice is overdue and will be done after i get the rear brakes fitted next week (about time! only had them for about 2 months now). Also thinking a ruddy good polish is in order, some clay barring and attention to paintwork followed by some temporary wheels.... Required for a short time due to project LOUDWheels. Not giving the game away too early, but i think a few members on here and ZR forum know what i am planning!
Anyone in the Notts area got any wheels i can borrow, or buy cheap with tyres? I should only need them for a few weeks whilst prepping and spraying, depending on weather, and not fussed about tyres as long as they are legal and fit the 120!
Otherwise i will have to take several weeks, which is acceptable, whilst spraying a wheel at a time..... i like this idea as it will make the car look funny after each weekend!
Anyways guys, just a note to say'Sorry, but it looks liek i am staying for a while!' lol

Second thoughts, should i just buy some new wheels (straigts) and paint them, then swap over the tyres afterwards?
Maybe that makes more sense.....

Good stuff, a right result then eh
Wheels sound like they will be an interesting project You could buy another set of straights and swap tyres over then clean up your original set and seel them on to hopefully cover your outlay for the replacment set. Could work out well if you find some for sale at a bargain price, an that are definately round not square haha.

Ok, so wheels are on the back burner again..... Mainly as i found a slightly annoying issue with the brakes, and had to replace a caliper at the same time as the rear discs and pads! Damn it! So, standard wheels for a while longer yet!
On the plus side this sticky caliper may be the cause of the higher MPG.... So after a few weeks and a service we shall see how many miles i can return to a tank!

Hmmmm, just had some quotes for the renewal too, and got it down almost £300 from last year! Not the biggest result though, did a quote for a 180 too, and that is only £40 a year more expensive! Hmmmm, next on the hit list may be a bigger engined Zed!
