That jap import place seems to be the cheapest place for Subaru parts as far as I have found, for example roger clark had quoted over £400+vat for the engine gasket set, that was at "trade price" yet Bishop Auckland quoted £300ish including vat! Although they where slightly dearer for cosworth gaskets but i forgave them that

Quick update for anyone who isn't on Facebook, engine went in over a month ago, seems to be running okay at the moment, but due to poor weather and dark nights I haven't had a chance to stick the last new disc on it and get the MOT done yet, hopefully at some point next week. Shall try sort pictures out as well

Kind of keep forgetting about it tbh, yeah looking forward to having it back on the road, still on the back of my mind whether its going to be reliable or not, time will tell. Done everything possible to ensure its running as it should. But still something niggling, hoping its all going to be fine anyway. Keep the MG another month or so as a standby.

Welll, back on the road! Still on the bed in, thats 200 miles covered now. Went through the MOT fine with no advises. So a quick oil change this weekend. Then its booked in for a remap off Mr. Forrest on the 9th of April to ensure its running as well as it should be

Good man.
Probably better built now than when it left the factory ....
