i bought mine from there aswell, Machargs, was a total spur of the moment thing, i saw one and thought...mmm...fancy one of them! 2 weeks later i was in possesion of a nice, shiney new ZS 180! Bought the plate 6 months later.
Its had a some of the well documented problems but on the whole its been great!

I went in with a MK1 120 Saloon in red for an aircon re-charge but made the mistake of "going for a quick look around" and left having bought a MK2 180 Hatch in Silver, funny how that works. In the 9 yrs ive owned her the only issue ive had mechanically was a £30 coil.

Best ever TD i have ever owned, i have a full stainless steel exhaust system and numerous engine modifications so she is currently putting out 160bhp. Excellent amount of power, pulls extremely well and great running costs. She's a keeper.

How many miles do you do a year in the Zed. We advise customers when buying cars unless you do 10000-15000 miles a year there is no financial benifit to buying one. Do Diesel Zed's have DPF filters ?

I dunno, they're very rattly lol..

In honesty I had a derv 200 that was quite highly tuned considering it started life as the non intercooled 84hp unit it ended up running 145hp iirc with all the mods done.
They sound nicer with a full stainless, decat and cone filter and on tick over you get a nice turbo buzz out the back. Just cant be afraid of a bit of smoke though as mine turned into a 40 a dayer under full chat lol
