It was a 3.0 Vectra, so must have been a decent car to start with, even if it were a diesel.

The time gap between the Mk1 and Mk2 zed was probably less than 6 months, I had the Vectra for about two months ,didnt like it then got the Mazda but a visit to F & M show last summer soon made me realise my mistake so straight back to the MK2.

Right then, this is all a bit hazy but here goes,

1 1976 Opel Manta
2 1982 Austin Maestro
3 1981 Ford Capri Calypso
4 1974 Pontiac Firebird
5 1979 X-Pack Capri
6 1986 Pontiac Firebird ("What CC is it Sir" - "FourThousandNineHundredandNinetyNine Occifer!")
7 1982 Volkswagen Scirrocco
8 1979 Datsun Cherry (Dont Ask!)
9 1987 Ford Orion
10 1982 Ford Sierra Ghia
11 1987 Mazda 626
12 2001 2.6 Vectra (still have)
13 2002 MG ZS 180

That's a smattering of types, why the Cherry? The Manta is nice, don't see them anymore, shame, I liked the Ascona SR.

Yeah i bought the cherry as a runaround while i was giving the pontiac a respray (and repairing some damage) , think i used a full roll of MIG wire on it! and you asked!
The Manta was a great car (think i was 17 then), bought it for 80 quid and not a spot of rust on it , interior was a bit worn so ended up fitting a pair of xj6 front seats!
I do tend to be a bit random sometimes ha ha
The Asconas were class , White with Irmscher arches
