No - any excess vapour from the fuel tank is absorbed into the carbon granules in the cylinder, this vapour is then released into the inlet manifold in a controlled manor, it is doing what it should.

Not an issue.its to do with unburnt fuel vapour being purged or something and was needed to make the kv6 pass emissions tests if I remember correctly.I thi k James and Pete no more about it.

All the K series cars have the system but it seems that as the KV6 runs higher fuel pressure so produces more vapour when fuel is pumped back to the tank.

UPDATE:

So the yellow peril (its new name ) is once again ready to be let loose round knockhill.
since last time it now has its (Zred) decat fitted and what a grunt it has now ha!



it is needing one exhaust clamp on the backbox as its starting to blow and rusting away but apart from giving the brakes a once over and checking levels, we are good to go this Sunday coming.


sitting hiding in the dark awaiting race day.



so here is hoping the weather turns good, and we manage to get a full days action from it!

Car looks good, so pleased it went to a good home and not broken, was tempted when it was up for sale, but no more parking space!!!!
