Righto, decided i have already had enough of the 6 disc changer and tape (yes TAPE) head unit! But i also decided to remove it properly so i can let someone else get some use out of it..... This meant removing trim my favourite pastime!

Whilst it was apart i figured i should at least clean it there too.... lol

When i get a weekend free again i may have to strip most of the interior and fully valet the car, then i will be happy....

I fitted both badges (just stickers really) as the old ones were sun faded.

I think I might get some domed badges made in the same style....

Fitted, at last, the iPod head unit with the iPod hidden inside the dash, for now.....

The ZS is back at the garage to get that good old handbrake fixed and I also seem to have acquired a bloody flat nearside rear! Damn.

Although I may be getting a proper job done on the body by a mate that normally valets cars like Rolls Royce's etc and at ?30 I think i have a good deal!!?

cheers, should have some new centre caps for the wheels soon and some (slightly tacky?) dust caps too with new MG logos in them.....Then it should be a case of keeping her clean and tidy till i can afford the wheel refurb next year.

Hope the dust caps arnt the cheap ones off ebay!!!

I bought some when I first got mine, was warned that you needed stainless ones or they would rust on. I put a bit of grease on the threads and it wasnt till one of the tyres looked a bit soft and I went to check the pressure, that I thought any more about them. (I know you should check weekly/monthly, but....)

The caps were well and truly stuck on, in the end I used mole grips to hold the valve and a spanner on the valve cap. Took quite a bit of effort to get them off.

Back to plastic dust caps now.

They did look good though.
