I know that sense of satisfaction Dan - Mine was blind too, and a right bargain.

Few bits today - Took the Kenwood out of Red to get put into this one, but I'll get the audio man to fit it and I'll have to get another DAB aerial. Changed the glovebox and armrest over from Red. Glovebox is "flocked" and the armrest is mint, but the silver one's glovebox was just all plastic and the armrest had a wee cut in the leather. Also changed the power vis motor - only coz I knew the one in Red was a good one. Seems even better now. Will do the balance one tomorrow as I've got a spare in the garage. Removed the Halfords V6 badge from the boot but it's left a lot of gluey residue that I'll get stuck into tomorrow, and if that doesn't come off I see another badge of some description covering it up ... Also ordered some new rear quarter badges as they're faded badly.

Gonna get under it and have a butchers at the exhaust in a mo....

So this is underneath the car - any ideas on what's going on ... ? Noise is awesome. And yes the petrol tank is a tad rusty ...

Not sure on the exhaust, it looks decent quality.

wd40 is good for removing the badge residue, another place worth checking for rust is the front jacking points.

Yep its a piper exhaust Dan, will be sounding wry similar to mine now. Its identical to mine barring the rear obviously but still the slash cut in usual way. They don't badge their exhausts up for some reason, most tend to but all the pipers I've ever had have all been plain boxes and pipe work.
Do sound awesome though dont they.!!
