I cant comment on the MOT requirements for the strip, but my galaxy had limo black on the front and i never got pulled by the traffic cops or did it fail any of the 5 mot's i put it through.

You guys don't have goverment run test centres though...

Paul - Pics are taken on one of the back roads on the left as you head for Glenariff. The last round of the NI Rally Championship has a stage up around that way in the forest (if you've ever been to it).

what makes you say that?

all the test centres in the uk are governed by vosa.

Yeah, but it's private certified garages that do the MOT there. We have 15 specific buildings that do nothing only MOT's.
