Talking Our new bus !!!

Now we've got 2 kids, 2 dogs and both have parents that don't drive our superb Freelander TD4 workhorse was proving to be just a tad too small link to this the fact that if these new tax laws come into play next year the TD4 would rise to £300 per year we decided it was time for a bus!! My wife said 'I really like the new shape Zafira' I said 'NO WAY' but then saw a nice black one locally so started to look into the specs and was very surprised....

So it was goodbye to this:

And hello to this:

Heres one with the Zed in to justify the post !!!!

Really pleased with it, heres the spec:

Zafira 1.9 CDTi 150bhp SRi XP in Sapphire Black
VXR Styling pack
Full heated leather
Factory Sat Nav
Panoramic Roof
etc etc

Goes like stink, looks good and is really practical, only £170 per year to tax and does 35+ round town (except when you've got sport mode on )

Its my first vauxhall and I've got to say its really impressed me so far....

If I had had the cash would have bought the TD4 off you, however just bought Mrs MRT an Audi 1.9TDI A4 Avant.....very impressed, Gawd it goes.

Well done anyway & happy motoring in your new bus

I never understood why they Vauxhall made VXR 7-seaters (and the like) - surely they do not fit the sporty purpose.

I can't see the pics with being at work but i think it's a Zafira our neighbours have... and they don't look too bad.
