ZS180 Wheels

I think the ones I'm after are the 17" multispoke items, but I will consider other sensible looking wheels.

Preferably with half decent tyres.

I have a set of BK Racing 'splits' I can offer in return - I don't like them (in fact, I hate them!) if that is your thing, but just as happy to pay cash.

BK Racing wheels pictured below:

I actually like those rims! Interested in any 18s? I was looking to sell mine as looking for a change, thread here http://www.themgzs.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?t=20693

Also have a set of 17 straights with good tyres.

Hi, I'm not interested in the 18s, but the Straights are of interest.

What tyres are fitted and how much tread is remaining?

Good tread as they are my track day options. Federals x2 and Hankooks x2 all with plenty of tread and very grippy. The Feds were a surprise, never lost any grip at all. Sam is borrowing them on his zed until he gets his new 18" replacement wheel. Not got any pictures of them until I get them back. No kerbing from what I remember but need a good clean to bring the best out of them. Still original finish.

Ok.

The wheels I have do have some curbing and the lips could do with a better polish to bring them up to their best (I have given them a quick run over, and the results were great for such little effort).

The tyres have plenty of tread remaining, but they are budgets.

What sort of deal would you propose? Would you be interested in a straight swap?

When do you think you'll get them back? I'm in quite a rush

Think we ought to check location first in-case we are too far apart to do this!

Sam said the wheel is being shipped today, so guess it'll be over the weekend into next week I think, Sam will clarify this when it arrives and when he can get the tyre fitted.

If we are both happy then no problem with a swap.

I am on the Isle of Wight. The easiest way is probably for me to come to Southsea via the Hovercraft.

I'll grab some detailed pics of the wheels later.

Do you have any wheel nuts for them? The BKs come with special ones....

Pretty local then, apart from the Solent

Yes got a set of nuts, might even have some locking ones, but they are the OE ones and are pretty naff. Also got centre caps for the wheels.

So you'll get a set of wheels onto the hovercraft?

Yeah, I have a mate that works on there anyway. I'm not too fussed whether they are locking nuts or not.
