Has anybody replaced the front speakers in thier zs?

I am thinking of changing the front speakers but would like to know if anybody else has done it. Can you get direct replacement speakers?

I was thinking of getting some new ones like didn't know which ones to get thou?

Not too sure about direct replacement ones, but if you are going to change / replace them might as well upgrade for the costs I would have thought.

the ZEds door are dead shallow i think you have to buy some sort of adaptor to push the speaker out a bit

oh biggest thing is removing the little plastic bit on the door open handel to remove remove screw and pull or push the whole unit(can't remember which was left or right) and when its free push the top of the clipover the wire behind and slide off dont force it or try and pull it about as they break very easy and are a pain with out it as they do pop off and you have to use the out side handle to ge out....

okay....it really depends what sort of price you are looking for your new speakers? Vibe are a happy medium (and i use them) they sound fine and don't cost a fortune, but obv the more you spend...the more you get.
I wouldn't worry to much about magnet depth tbh....there is loads of room infront of the cone to space the speakers out as far as you need! i made up spacers from work...but a load of washers would do exactly the same job!
its a shame your a fair distance away....one morning and i could sort you out completely.....?
Give me a rough price what you want to spend on speakers and i'll point you in the right direction
