Everyone Meet...Archie

As some are aware myself and Kate have been looking for sometime at selling off our Civic Type R and returning to MG. This is for many reasons:

1. Miss the scene and fellow owners - other clubs just seem up their own a*se
2. Its how me and Kate first met
3. The way the cars made us feel
4. Financial - Want a big holiday and to finally sort our Garden out.

For those that don't know me or Kate here are a few of our previous projects.

My old 105 ZR

ZR Replica

MK2 ZS 180

Kates ZR Turbo

MK1 Hatch 180

Thats what we have had including a TF 135 but Kate hated that only a week after owning it so nothing really happened with it lol.

So Now....We are back in...

This

He is called Archie as Kate names all our cars lol. As you can see he is a 2002 180 in Le Mans Green, he has been fully converted to a MK2 exterior but retained the MK1 interior so to us its the best of both worlds. This is by far the cleanest ZS we viewed that was for sale and had to snap it up, Keith was a gent and held the car for a couple of weeks while the Civic sold. A great bloke to talk to and a pleasure to do business, thanks mate for letting him go

> 56k
> FSH
> Belts Done
> Full Janspeed
> K&N Apollo
> 11 Spokes wrapped in Yoko Parada Spec 2's
> Alcantara seats
> Green Monogram mgf steering wheel
> Black oak dash
> Drilled and grooved discs
> new rear calipers

Plans:

> Full Pro Detail
> Team Heko's
> New OE mats
> Personal Plate
> 45 Rear lights
> LED bulbs all round
> Sheddist/DID Kit
> Strut Braces
> Springs/Suspension
> Hydro dipped engine bay bits

Sure there is much more as we come across it.

Some pics

So a bit of progress already...

New temporary plates, LED sidelights, number plate bulbs, and fob batteries. Didnt do much else as it nailed it down lol

What do you all think???

Its good to be back

Welcome back to the ZS World to the both of you.

Car looks stunning already, good luck with the planned work.

Look forward to seeing you both at one of the meets.

I like it a lot, I have to admit I'm not so keen on the mk1 interior, but the rest looks the nuts.

Good to see you back in an MG, however surprising as you have had a few and moved on, but just shows I guess what a decent community the MG one is!

Very tidy indeed, strange how so many like myself try other cars but are always drawn back to the land of MG

A neat mk1/2 and a nice selection altogether, especially that black mk2.
