Fitted a Derv G/Box to my 180

Well as my diff has been whining for a while i thought it was time to do something about it, I was told by a m8 that some 180 owners have fitted diesel boxes so i thought i would give it a try, I think it will improve fuel consumption because at 50mph its only at 1800rpm and at 90mph its on 3200rpm 110mph is 4000rpm

wider ratio will mean you'll lose a lot of performance surely?

The ratios are quite different after 1st & 2nd.Should be about the same off the mark, but will then lose some performance
(gear ratios rounded off by calculator)

ZS Diesel

ZS 180

Basically for the same power & revs 3rd onwards will really slow the car down.look at the rev drops between gears to see & the top speed of the gear what I mean.
if ya look at fourth you'll hit top speed in it.
