Looks a lot like my list except I never have had any 200/400/600/800 series cars (had metros and 100's though).

Sadly the current MG co cars just do not follow their predecessors, I know a few MGR fans have followed through but for me they just don't have the same passion.

Agree with you on that.

It's a bit sad really, I remember the TripleM message board when it first started in the 1990s - was a great community and I learnt so much about the workings of the Montego and Maestros. First learnt about the T16 conversion on there and met some great people at the MG saloon day (does that still take place?) and other meets.

This website has been similarly useful but things move on and the MG brand hasn't done enough to capture the imagination of existing customers or a new generation of enthusiasts (in my opinion)

I've seen some of the same names and people on this and the Rovertech website that I used to see on the MMM forum so to me that proves there was a transition of enthusiasm from one generation of cars to the next that could have been capitalised on ...

Shame really

Dave

I'm still in touch with a few peeps from the old triple MMM and even the old BBS board but virtually everyone has moved on to something else.

Me too now.
I toyed with the idea of keeping the ZS as a fun / track day or even show / event car but in the end couldn't justify the man-maths finance of it, plus I wouldn't realistically have the time.
