Catalytic converter

Hey all

The exhaust has been getting noisier and noisier of late and I think it is the flexi pipe that is blowing. With MOT time looming large on the horizon I've decided its a good time to get it sorted.

Before I head off to ECP to part with more cash does anyone happen to have either a sports or standard cat in good condition lying around unused?

Olly

Is it worth considering getting a new flexi welded in?

To be honest its not something I'd even considered. Any idea of how much that should cost?

Completely off the top of my head, £30 for the flexi section and £20 labour to weld it in? I don't know, but it must be cheaper than a new cat.

Cheers.

Found a new type approved cat for £90 with fitting kit but will speak to a couple of local places to see how much the welding would cost to see if I can save some pennies.
