Thermostat doesn't matter so much in regards to doing it at the same time as it isn't driven off the timing belt, it isn't driven at all!

Its deffo 90 and it's not the stat that needs replaced it's the water pump as it one of those things that needs the belt off to be changed so if you are having the belts done you might as well get the water pump done while it is all stripped down.

I find it hard to believe there's 30 ZS owners who've decided to get their belts done. I haven't came across 30 that want their oil changed never mind belts!!

Likely because most would have a go at the basic stuff - even me to a degree - but when it comes to belts it's time for the pros ...

If you want to be pedantic, you actually haven`t actually mentioned any make, model or engine. Seeing as you`re on a ZS forum and your username infers you own a ZS180, I like every other poster before me assumed you were indeed talking about an MG ZS 180 2.5 KV6.

To be fair I read it as KV6 so that includes 45's, 75's, ZT's and some 4x4 thing and as some were due a belt change eight years ago so that is an average of0.0144230769230769 a day, even less if he's including the earlier V6 Rovers (even though they're not KV6's).
