2 sets of Mk2 straights on the bay - one is £350 or best offer - the other set is an auction currently just over £100 - 6 days left.

I'd probs go with the second set offered at £350 or best offer as they come with the ZZ3 tyres too .....

So I've got to ask then - are they a straight swap up front - wings, bonnet and lights then, or is there some machining required ?

IIRC is a straight swap as long as you have the mk2 front plastic cross member as the mk2 light clusters foul the mk1 cross member. Pretty sure it can be notched out if you do go down that route.

When I got my Mk2 it had no front bumper on, or the plastic crash-bar that goes behind it.
The only bar I could find was a Mk1 one, and there were 2 lugs on the back of the Mk2 bumper that fouled on the bar. However the problem was easily fixed by drilling 2 slots in the bar.
I can't remember the lights interfering with it at all, and it's never caused me a problem since.
Hope that helps.
