Smokie will become famous soon enough
MER stuff is pants hard to remove and leaves a uneven shine. i bought some a while back and i have only used it a few times, if you cover the postage you can have it, give it a try then chuck it in the bin. Auto Glym super resin polish is the best stuff that i have used you only need to apply it twice a year once in the winter and once in the summer after that Auto Glym Bodywork shampoo and chami dry and my car comes up a treat.

same with autoglym super resin polish, dont use it too often as it has a cutting compound in it and will soon wear away your clear coat, the thing with red cars it that they fade really easy, even worse when it is summer, so the way to stop this is to use a polish and wax plus a sealant, what i would reccomend to you is:

menzerna IP for the prep, this will bring the colour back and bring out the depth of the shine http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polish.../prod_229.html

go over this with a decent wax, collinite 476 is a very good and long lasting wax, i personally use zymol but its a tad expensive - collinite here: http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/co.../prod_207.html

then top this off with a durable selant which will help stop the sun from fading the paint : http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/sealan.../prod_355.html

or you could try an all in one polish like this:

Would you just replace it with that last one the all in one? That collinite 476 looks like the stuff my grandad gave me when I got my first car was a real f***er to get off so only the bonnet ever got waxed lol Is that a hard or soft wax?
