Is the battery going behind the seat again or in the boot?
If it is the boot the cable can go under the car.

When I moved my battery I ran a new lead from the under bonnet fusebox to the starter.
I then sniped out the cut out next to the bolt in the fusebox that holds this lead.
I used this to add the lead to the battery.
