Thumbs down Auto Windscreens.

Just thought you might like to see what sort of a job they did on my uncles ZS TD

it was broken into last month & needed a new drivers window.

they had not got it back into the rubber properly so it wouldnt work correctly. so my dad had a look at it for him today.
we took the door card off to find this.

stuck together with stuff that resembled chewing gum.

we had to take the window out and re-fit it correctly.

shockingly bad job they did.

the chewing gum stuff is the stuff you use on them, thats what yours will be like as well, personally i try use butyl when im doing them cuz its not as messy

infact looking at that again it looks like they never had the whole panel off it, the thick red see through tape is the stuff theyve used and cut the curtain, looks a lot neater than some ive seen to be fair

Seems to be two types MGR used, this sticky gloop and what is on mine which had set like rock, possible mine was a bad batch or something. Lot less messy though.

Did you, or whoever, leave interior release on and force door card over it?

if you turn it it comes off and no need to disconnect it saves a bit of time
