Spoke to George last night actually. He plans on coming through to collect both engine and car, take me and it down to his place where he will do the engine swap for me to drive it home.

Unfortunately dont have a set date as yet but will keep you posted.

Thats a mighty long round trip, Fingers crossed for you it all goes well and you can get a good road trip home in it.

Just read through the whole thread and its confirmed my thoughts about this site, that its a collection of bloody nice people and more a family than a forum (gush over!).

TBH I'm a bit gutted that I'm at the other end of the country so can't be involved a bit more, but will put some funds into the kitty tomorrow.

Things like this is what makes this forum a very special place
Great you can be involved with a donation Oliver..
I'm sure Blair could put it to good use and every little bit just brings this community a step forward..
Even though you are not in Scotland it is in Blairs intention to have the car travel the country so you never know mate ,, might get lucky.
