Good question, items I enquired about were never answered.

The shell has now gone, making my wife very happy. Bits left are:
Doors (with mirrors, no door cards though)
Shocks
Some polybushes
Rear braces (lower brace doesnt have the mounts though)
Flock dash
Brakes (calipers discs and pads)
Braided Goodridge hoses
2 rear bumpers (not sure about condition, I'll clean them up and have a look if anyones interested)
Set of mk1 straights, need to check condition and tyres
Probably some other bits as well.

I did say about putting various bits up on ebay, any decent offers got the goods and some stuff went dirt cheap.

Sorry but I cannot stay quiet on this thread anymore.

All well and good coming back now but there were certain items enquired about that I never found on ebay so assumed you still had them and now apparently not.

How many members enquired and actually got anything?

I made an initial bid to test the water and got nothing back apart from it'll now go on ebay, guess what? it didn't! so didn't even get the chance to bid up to a price that suited both parties.

I have found this whole thread to be a waste of time. If you are going to offer parts to members be more proactive in communication, be honest and put up prices so members know where they stand.

In future I may only consider ads posted with prices otherwise it becomes a bun fight.

I've dealt with OP in the past with regards to parts and never had a problem. That said, I'm in same boat as Stamford. Very frustrating. I for one am all for, sale posts with prices.

I told a chap/friend about parts for sale from this car (he is not on the forum) and he bought the engine, box, flywheel, short shift and perhaps even other bits without an issue.

I am not siding either way, I know how difficult it is selling MG stuff as some people want the items for 50p which makes the selling process very frustrating, I also know as a buyer that if you want something bad you have to pay the price or risk losing it, although it is very satisfying when you do grab a bargain.
