That reminds me of when my girls were small and attempting to ride without stabilisers!

Gina is going to kill me for this one..................her first attempt without stabilisers was on Southsea common, open space, grass with very few tress to worry about. I launched her off by gripping the saddle whilst she started to pedal, I then let her go whilst she was shouting "you still there daddy?" Then to only watch her pedalling towards a tree, she had done a 360 and cycled right into it! What's the odds! No sense of direction and didn't think to steer away! It was funny

Phate is an unknown quantity at this point
lol reminds me of when my brother first tried without stabilisers, Dad taught us in our back garden (we had a big garden). Dad did the same as Mick...held onto the seat and ran behind whilst my brother started pedalling, Dad let go but completely forget to tell him to turn, he went straight into a solid wooden fence and broke his nose

Lets just say in engineering terms she managed an interference fit with the Xsara and the posts that adorn the entry/exit! Gave me a long job to do that particular Sunday, all down one side!
