I love my zs. But I do get bored often and I change something, I now have chrome mirrors on it. But I wouldn't love it so much if I didn't change things on it. I haven't had anything go wrong until tonight when the door Handel came off in my friends hand, And the cool whisteling noise, but i like that lol. Iv done nearly 15k since I got the car, ( now on 44700 ) and that's what's went wrong. My mums old BMW hadnt done 15k since new and she had major problems with it cutting out on her at any point, never knew when it would have happened. Generally with the cars that's been in the golder house, the mg and rovers have been the moast reliable. Shogun, c200, 316 compact, Audi 80 have all had something big done on them

My next car, wil be another zs, and then I can start the tinkering all over again

In essence if we wanted a reliable car that required nil maintenance we would not be a member of any club or forum. We would not give a hoot about what we are driving and treat it as such. We are all enthusiasts and that is what we do, we use them, we play with them, we find what makes them tick and tell everybody about it.

There are times when I think shall I get a 'normal' car.................that state of mind lasts for seconds and I say nah! Press that start button and all's good

If no-one on here has never owned and tinkered with a classic Mini then you haven't lived! I have had eight over the years and loved them all.

The ZS is my first MG after they had my head turning whenever I saw a MK2 saloon.
great car to drive in the twisty country lanes and Very Very affordable with great looks.
I am very tempted though to move up to a 180 but fear I will regret parting with a fantastic, cheap & reliable everyday runaround.
When Ive paid of the 110 then I could get a 180 as a wkend toy.
