Just worked out what '£37 (@ 93.9/L) of petrol in about 150 miles' is.... It's just short of 20MPG (if i worked it out correctly ).

im getting about 320 miles from a tank from my 180.

I dont do much town driving so im getting about 32mpg

highest ive had has been 36mpg on a long run to inverness

Lowest has been 27.9mpg

Agreed

If you treat the car with TLC she will give good mileage.

On a few meets this year we have nearly hit 40mpg.

But you eed to keep the car below 3,000 revs and at 70mph.

I was getting between 280 - 320 miles to tank when i had the 180

I'm now getting 500+ out of my tractor, lol

Yep. I've had 39 point odd mpg on a few tankfulls of 'conservative' driving on unleaded. Since converting to LPG, I get the equivalent of 52mpg (at the cost of diesel compared to LPG) while the actual mpg is about 22.

I would also agree that it's not that easy keeping below 3k revs in any gear.

Below 3k.... Only time i manage that is when i'm letting the oil warm up.

Mine surprised me this week, got approx 440 miles to the tankful whereas before I was getting 320 ish. It's running like my swiss watch at present!
