fuel rail leak

Hey all,
Got a problem with the fuel rail.
Had a massive leak couple of days ago from the fuel pipe connected to the right hand side as you look into bonnet. After looking turns out that a bodge job was done as the pipe was never fully connected and a load of sticky crap was stopping it from leaking before....have now taken all the rubbish out and pipe will not seal. Is there anyway round this or will i need the whole part? Its no longer a waterfall just a constant drip.
Cheers
